Prototec provides its easy to use web technologies for free to organisations that have a Prototec support contract. Most have been developed to meet a particular school's need, which was then passed on to others. Most of the technologies require servers with PHP and MySQL support, which most Linux and MacOS servers have out of the box. Prototec can purchase and setup servers for its solutions if desired.
